My lady and I decided to come out to our friends retreat they have built on their property in yucca valley/Joshua tree area. It is truly something special, amazing community kitchen and bath area in the center of tipi's, tents and restored trailers surrounded by endless desert to ride dirt bikes / street bikes or just sit your ass down and relax while you listen to nothing and soak up how small you are in this world.

Friday

Today was mandatory work meeting on the golf course. I SUCK so bad at this game but it was still a really good time getting out and not thinking about shit, also the occasional shank onto the next fairway while yelling four and watching people duck is pretty funny.

Work

I used to hate doing this type of work, now I almost find it relaxing. Something about the thoughtless process of digging three 36x36x36 footings for a patio we are building became easier. Maybe it's my buds I work with, maybe it's being in better shape, maybe it's that you can't fuck anything up, whatever it is, it was nice today. Happy Thursday 

Suspension time

I blew my left rear shock last Saturday night, lucky for me it can be rebuilt only because my friend Mr. Ed made a special sleeve to get the gas back into them back when he used them years ago. Since he is doing those I figured I would get into my R6 forks and do the seals/oil levels. Pretty much no oil was in the right fork and lots of rust and corrosion. Not surprised considering I bought them on Craigslist for $150
